Threatening hacker: GTA VI complete in circulation if Rockstar does not yield

The Cyberleek vs Rockstar situation seems to have taken an even more critical turn. As we have reported, in recent weeks the leak of gameplay breaks for GTA VI has created a wave of concerns among fans. Now, hackers have raised their stakes with a threat that could have huge consequences. According to Insider Gaming and confirmed by Cyberleek, the hacker group now has a full build of the GTA VI game, divided into several copies stored on hard drives and servers scattered around the world – in locations where Take-Two has no possibility of intervention. The threat is clear: if Rockstar will not “ leave in peace” Cyberleek, the full build of the game will be released publicly, making millions of players available within a few days. The message on the Cyberleek website, now offline, was a contingent statement: "CYBERLEEK has the final version of the game. He has long been there and is no longer in one place. " The message points out that copies were deliberately dispersed to avoid kidnapping, and that their publication will depend solely on Cyberleek's actions. The situation is extremely delicate. If this threat comes true, Rockstar Games would face an unprecedented loss of control over its most important product, with potentially devastating consequences for the launch of the game and the company itself. It remains to be seen whether the legal strategy adopted until now will prove sufficient to defuse this escalation.
