GTA 6: The Incomparable Technology Pass Compared to GTA V

By comparing the versions of GTA V and GTA VI, the technological gap becomes impossible to ignore. One of the most impressive updates is the realism of the characters models. Rockstar exploited everything he learned from GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, pushing it further. The faces in GTA VI appear significantly more detailed, with realistic skin textures, visible pores, slight wrinkles, natural beard, detailed eyebrows, improved eyelashes and incredibly realistic eyelashes. Each first floor reveals a level of detail that ten years ago was not possible. Improvements go far beyond facial features. The expressions of the characters now appear more natural and credible, helping conversations and emotions to feel much more immersive. Details such as eye movement, muscle deformation, skin shading and realistic lighting interactions make characters feel closer to real people than ever before. Instead of appearing as video game models, they often appear as real humans caught in the camera. Lighting is another area where GTA VI shows massive evolution. Solar light interacts naturally with the skin, creating realistic highlights and shadows. The reflections are more precise, the ambient lighting changes dynamically during the day and each scene benefits from a much more advanced rendering system. Whether the characters stand under the warm sun of Ocean Beach or are illuminated by the night neon lights, visual quality is on a completely different level. The jump in texture quality is just as impressive. Clothing materials, hair fibers, skin surfaces and environmental objects have greatly increased details. Combined with improved animations and advanced physics systems, each movement seems more fluid, realistic and immersive. What is really remarkable is that GTA VI is not only improving the charts to make things more beautiful. Boosted realism helps create a world that feels alive. The interactions of the characters appear more credible, the cinematic scenes seem more realistic and every moment within Port Gellhorn is designed to make players feel more immersed in the experience.
