GTA 6: Protagonists and Narrative Universe – The Last Speculations

Many of you often ask us the same question: are there any concrete news about GTA 6? The long-awaited new chapter of Rockstar Games, for years at the center of increasingly incisive noises and indiscretions, is feeding an unprecedented wait. Here, we summarize everything we know about the protagonists, the gameplay, the date of release and the fascinating narrative universe that will characterize it. ** Until today, it is rare that the protagonist of a chapter in the GTA series is also re-proposed in other games. A legend tells of a connection between Claude of GTA 3 and the protagonist of GTA 2, but it is conjecture. For the most part, the protagonists of the various chapters were completely original, or to the maximum reproduction of secondary characters from other chapters, or still familiar with them. Here is the complete list of the protagonists of all games: * GTA – Criminal without name * GTA 2 – Claude Speed * GTA 3 – Claude * GTA: Vice City – Tommy Vercetti * GTA: San Andreas – Carl “CJ” Johnson * GTA Advance – Mike * GTA: Liberty City Stories – Toni Cipriani (already met in the third chapter) * GTA: Vice City Stories – Victor Vance (brother of Lance, villain final of Vice City) * GTA 4 – Niko Bellic * GTA 5 – Franklin Clinton, Michael DeSanta, Trevor Phillips We discard the idea of a return of known faces, at least as protagonists of GTA 6. At the moment, we have no official information on the subject, but it is difficult to hypothesize the return of some figures even just as cameo or easter egg. The "multiverso" of Grand Theft Auto develops on multiple timelines and storylines that, in some cases, intertwine: the first two chapters for example have different points in common; we then have the microverso of GTA 3, which includes Vice City, San Andreas, Advance and the two spin-offs, all games set clearly in the same narrative universe with various characters returning on several occasions (Claude di GTA III, for example) GTA 4 and GTA 5, however, according to some clues and theories coexist in the same universe, but official confirmation has never happened. In summary, don't think to see some faces known in GTA 6 so easily. However, by analyzing the various noises that have occurred over the years, we can outline an innovative future for GTA 6 on the front of the protagonist. The most mentioned indiscretions speak of a system similar to that of Grand Theft Auto V, with two protagonists instead of the three we played in the last game. Not a surprise, you will say, but there is something more: according to various noises that have been coming for many months, Rockstar is exploring the possibility of integrating Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos as co-protagonists, maintaining an atmosphere similar to that of Vice City.
