Less than three months after the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, a seemingly insignificant detail is making fans discuss: the artwork published along with the 2025 trailer could be intended to become the game's loading screens. A consolidated habit in the saga, dating back to GTA III (2001), where stylized images anticipated characters and atmospheres before the release of the open world. The clue comes from a Reddit user, Fanny-Paper-7464, who noted the presence of Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, the two confirmed protagonists, in some of the promotional artwork. The stylistic coherence with Rockstar’s past makes the hypothesis plausible: fans know this mechanism well as an early “direction” on the cast and the settings of the game. Although there are no official confirmations, the situation is further clarified by the focus on PlayStation 5's SPD performance. Rockstar aims to minimize waiting times, with load screens that may appear mainly when the game starts and when moving to specific areas, as happens in GTA Online. The release date is set for November 19, exclusively temporary on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The PC output is scheduled for 2027. On August 27, Rockstar Games will release a full preview of the game, available streaming on Netflix, where a sequence of unpublished gameplay could be unveiled – a strategic move that arouses interest in the video world.
