GTA VI: Rockstar unveils new gameplay images with robberies, weather and protagonists

The DAZED magazine published an exclusive preview of Grand Theft Auto VI, accompanied by 12 unpublished official screenshots. The technical analysis, signed by Thom Waite, confirms the game's debut on November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with a mix between the frenetic action of GTA V and the engaging narrative of Red Dead Redemption 2. The gameplay budget is focused on Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, the two new protagonists: Jason, former courier of military extraction drugs, and Lucia, a fighter who has just left prison, a real female protagonist of the modern era of GTA. The relationship between the two goes beyond the criminal cliché, exploring themes of intimacy and trust, with the choices of the player who will influence the stability of the couple. The game introduces an innovative real-time control system: during the car routes, it is possible to switch from the driver to the passenger, while Lucia can use social networks in-game or prepare weapons. The chases are fluid and without artificial loads, allowing transitions between driving and cover fire from the window. GTA VI also focuses on high immersive, with a biological simulation system that reacts to the lifestyle of the characters: a junk supply involves weight gain, while regular workouts sculpt the muscles. The game also introduces a culture of detailed and dynamic clothing, reflecting the player's actions and choices. The simple fact of circulating with an assault rifle in good sight frightens the NPCs, triggering calls to the police and coordinated panic reactions.
