After a year dominated by titles such as Hollow Knight: Silksong, Hades II and Monster Hunter Wilds, the attention of video games is moving towards 2026. Among the most anticipated titles, stands the date for GTA VI, the long-awaited new chapter of the Rockstar saga. The game, previously postponed twice, should finally arrive in November, feeding fans' hopes after the success of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which won the 2025 The Game Awards. Parallel to GTA VI, in 2026 we expect an important return with the new chapter of Tomb Raider and a renewal for the Resident Evil series, with the highly anticipated Requiem. The game, initially planned with a female protagonist, Grace Ashcroft (an FBI agent), will also have as co-star Leon Kennedy, back in the auge after years of absence. The first impressions of the gameplay, tested at Gamescom, suggest a more marked horror approach than previous installments of the saga, thanks to Grace's inadequacy in the face of Resident Evil's typical monstrosity.
