GTA VI: Discover Gameplay and History Details - Rockstar's New Approach

Grand Theft Auto VI promises a revolution. Numerous information about the game emerges thanks to an exclusive interview with Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier, who spoke with about 20 Rockstar Games employees during the realization of his special dedicated to the project. The code title Project Americas is proceeding despite the slowdowns caused by Covid-19 and some internal changes to the company. The game will be set in a fictional version of Miami, Florida, offering players the opportunity to explore the largest city ever seen in a chapter of the GTA saga, with all its surroundings. A distinctive feature will be access to the interiors of condominiums, premises and other buildings, a significantly expanded feature compared to previous titles. In addition, a live service structure is planned, designed to avoid the "crunch" work, allowing the publication of the game without excessive delay and providing a constant flow of new post-launch content through the introduction of new exploreable cities and regular updates. The plot will see two protagonists, inspired by Bonnie and Clyde, engaged in robbery activities on banks. Although the details about their motivations and the adventure they will expect are still limited, it is known that one of them will be a Latin woman, a key element in Rockstar Games' cultural renewal, oriented towards a more inclusive and respectful approach to minorities, as Jason Schreier also pointed out. This will be reflected in a reduction of potentially offensive scenes in GTA V and The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. Despite the absence of a definite date of exit, development continues at a sustained pace. Given the presence of the live service structure, Rockstar Games is likely to communicate new information in the coming months, perhaps already in the course of 2023.
