Skylar Mae: "Do not worry, the Fidanzati will not betray you with GTA VI"

Less than three weeks after the launch date scheduled for November 19, the millionaire influencer Skylar Mae has issued provocative statements to women who fear their boyfriends are cheating on interest with Grand Theft Auto VI. The 23-year-old influencer, who declares an income greater than a million dollars a month, considers the funny situation and claims that women should be concerned about what their partners do in real life rather than of the time spent interacting with a video game character. "They could be out at a real club or really betray you in real life," said Mae. "It's the same thing with influencers: at least they're doing it at home and not physically betraying you with someone else." Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for launch on November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. The plot will follow the criminal couple of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos in the fictitious state of Leonida, which includes an updated version of the famous Vice City. Their romantic relationship will be at the heart of history. The game has been delayed. Initially, Rockstar Games had set 2025 as a launch year, then postpone the date to May 26, 2026, and finally announce in November 2025 the need for further six months to finalize the game. The discussion was born online, with some women wondering if their partners are spending hours in a virtual relationship, including strip clubs of the game and other mature content, betraying their attentions. The debate broke out on TikTok after the publication of an extended gameplay preview by Rockstar on August 27, as reported by Gulf News via IGN. The creator Shelby Haas claimed that the game requires players to send messages to Lucia, attend and keep her happy, warning her followers: "Do not allow your boyfriend or boyfriend or husband to play GTA 6." Her fiancé, Alex Eubank, responded that she would not play GTA 6 if this were to worry about her girlfriend. Some users remained skeptical, noting that The Sims allowed players to create virtual families for about 25 years without dispute. IGN also reported that romance in GTA 6 is optional and that players who avoid following it will find the least devoted couple to each other, but still loyal at important times. "I heard that girls don't want their boyfriends to play at GTA 6 because, apparently, in the game you have to maintain a relationship with the other main character," said Mae. "So the girls are essentially saying that if he doesn't give me all his attention, why should I dedicate all my time to a video game? " Mae, passionate about games, doesn't understand why women care so much for a fictitious relationship. "I think girls care that their man is giving more importance to the game and this virtual relationship than they, which I find really fun," he added. "Of course there's the look of strip clubs, which I can understand can upset some women, but in the end it's just a character of a video game."
