Microsoft denies the exclusive GTA VI Cloud Gaming – Confirms the release date on Xbox

Updated by Everyeye.it: Matthew Ball, Microsoft’s Chief Strategy Officer (Xbox), categorically denied news about an exclusive Grand Theft Auto VI streaming through Xbox Cloud Gaming. The statement comes in response to a Tom Warren report on The Verge that suggested such exclusivity. According to Ball, Redmond's giant will offer GTA VI streamed only for owners of a physical copy of the game on Xbox Series X/S, taking advantage of the game hours available through Xbox Cloud Gaming. Access to streaming will not be free: users can buy additional time on the store, and the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription will not guarantee unlimited access to the title. This confirmation comes at a crucial time for Microsoft and its cloud gaming service, potentially relaunching interest thanks to the ability to play GTA VI even on PC, after activation of one of the planned plans. Despite the general enthusiasm for the launch of GTA VI on Xbox on November 19, the situation remains clear: PlayStation Plus Premium and PlayStation Portal owners will need a physical console for streaming, while an exclusive subscriber to Sony is not expected. Regarding the past of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, Rockstar has still kept a silence on this aspect, leaving room for speculation about the social criticism of the main character within the plot of GTA VI.
