Fan Recreates the entire Map of GTA 6 in Cities: Skylines II

A fan has reconstructed the entire map of Grand Theft Auto VI within the city building game Cities: Skylines II, with a scale of 1:1, and the result is really impressive. It is said that it took about 145 hours of work, and it is functional with simulated traffic and moving citizens, and you can charge it yourself using the map ID 153426 if you own the game and its add-on. Of course, it is not the true map of Leonida. It is a fan reproduction made by a fan. It is based on a community map, like the one we have. It is not based on anything Rockstar Games has actually confirmed. Until the launch of the game in November, these educated assumptions are the best we can get, and in this case it is among the best. Even so, mod like this are welcome. Without any other available official information, having a functioning city that you can scroll through and cross, with a sense of scale and real density, seems much better than an abstract map. More importantly, it is another example of how the community of Grand Theft Auto does Rockstar work for her. Considering that the studio showed practically nothing, fans rebuilt the map, modeled the locations and now recreated it in the other engine, only to have something to explore while the real game remains closed. What Reconstructed What built the fan in Cities: Skylines II and the effort involved. Unfortunately there is a real risk that such efforts become target of legal actions. Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive have a documented closing story of fan projects that consider a violation of their intellectual property. This specific reconstruction lives in a gray area, as it is built on estimated data from the community within a third-party game rather than using GTA 6 assets directly. The best case is that this makes another legal action less likely. We hope Rockstar Games let this creation stand out. It does not hurt anyone and it comes clearly from a place of enthusiasm. Ultimately, however detailed and lovingly realized both, the real map of GTA 6 will be different from it, perhaps significantly. Rockstar did not show the final map and the real will be full of numerous details, changes and additions that no amount of fugue-based investigations could predict. When the official map arrives, expect me to confirm what the community has done well and reveal a huge amount of new information that the community could never have known. So upload it, take the tour and appreciate the absurdity of the effort involved. Just know that the original object that lies in archive at Rockstar, waiting for an official revelation, will probably be much larger and more detailed than anything the community could discover with the escapes.
