Rockstar Games updated the official site of Grand Theft Auto VI with a preview of the rich sound universe that will accompany the players in the state of Leonida. The new chapter introduces six radio stations, each with a well-defined musical genre, and for the first time in the history of the saga, on-demand podcasts that can be heard by car or on foot through headphones/auricolars. The release date is set at 19 November 2026, with the title available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The six radio stations presented are: Cocoteo FM (modern Latin music), Back Country Radio (Rebel Country), AfroBank FM (African music), The Chamber 106.6 (metal), Flash FM (pop) and Dirty South Classics (rap and hip-hop). Each station is curated by DJ and personality with a well defined sound identity, which reflects the diversity of the landscape of Leonida, passing through Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and Vice City. The absolute novelty concerns the introduction of the on-demand podcasts, accessible via smartphones connected to headphones/auriculars. This allows players to immerse themselves in the gaming experience by listening to content spoken during the exploration of the world of GTA VI, both by car and on foot.
