Grand Theft Auto VI: the long preview on Netflix to fill the wait before launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
At the end of August Rockstar Games will broadcast on Netflix a "long preview" of Grand Theft Auto VI. The company announced that on August 27 at 21 Italians will again show the game, scheduled to be released on November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Considering that many interested people may not have an active subscription to Netflix, a few hours later (at 3 on 28 August) will also be available on Rockstar Games' YouTube channel and on the official website of the game. Despite two trailers and pre-orders have been released for a few weeks, until now you have not yet been able to see the full gameplay of Grand Theft Auto VI. This "long preview" could represent an important filling of the wait less than three months after the official debut. L’idea di una "lunga anteprima" su Netflix mi sembra un colpo di scena. Mi convince poco pensare che Rockstar giochi con la distribuzione in questo modo, soprattutto considerando quanto si sono concentrati sul canale YouTube e sul sito ufficiale. Questa mossa potrebbe essere un tentativo di raggiungere un pubblico più ampio, comprensivo anche di chi non è direttamente interessato a GTA ma magari guarda contenuti su Netflix, aumentando l'hype del gioco. Il fatto che gli sconti per GTA Online arrivino proprio in concomitanza suggerisce una strategia ben precisa: tenere i giocatori incollati alla saga e incentivare il tempo trascorso nel mondo della serie, aumentando così le probabilità che si avvicinino a GTA VI.
