Budget from Record for GTA VI: Rockstar Pound between 1 and 2 Billion Dollars?

According to Everyeye.it, a DeXerto tweet has stirred: Rockstar Games would be investing between one and two billion dollars on Grand Theft Auto VI, making it the most expensive video game ever made. The figure raises questions about the real scope of the project. The magazine reported a DeXerto statement indicating a budget of between $12 billion for GTA VI, an indication that could include marketing costs and future developments. The project has been developing since 2015 and, with a potentially ten-year production cycle, Rockstar Games has definitely invested hundreds of millions of dollars. Considering the high costs of GTA V (over 250 million) and Red Dead Redemption 2 (up to 300 million), which also include marketing expenses, it is plausible that the GTA VI budget greatly exceeds these figures. Rockstar Games has proven in the past to be able to invest massively in its open world titles, and GTA VI is no exception. The game will see at the center of the narrative Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, while Raoul Bautista will be sailing among the pitfalls of the criminal world of Port Gellhorn with the company of Dre’Quan Priest and Real Dimez. The roads of Ocean Beach, dominated by Vapid Stanier, will be controlled by Boobie Ike and Brian Heder, which operate under the aegis of Villains. Only Raw Records will contribute to the soundtrack of the title, while financial operations are managed by the group of Leonida.
