GTA VI: The External Trailer in Preview on Netflix, Reactions Contrastanti tra i Fan

Rockstar Games released an extensive trailer of gameplay for Grand Theft Auto VI, reserving the exclusive preview to Netflix. The decision immediately generated mixed reactions within the community of fans, with many expressing disappointment for exclusivity on a streaming platform instead of on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Netflix will have access to the trailer extended for six hours, before it is freely available on YouTube and Rockstar Games official website on August 27 at 21:00 Italian time. The move raises questions about the future of exclusive video games, a theme debated for years between Xbox and PlayStation. Among fans there are divergent opinions: some appreciate the opportunity to see the gameplay preview, while others complain about the choice of Netflix, considering it an opportunistic decision to increase subscriptions. Several social media comments reflect a sense of disappointment for the absence of presentations on gaming platforms. It also points out an episode in which a visitor hid among the bushes near the Rockstar Games offices to spy on the trailer, highlighting the spasmodic wait surrounding the title. The debate is enriched with reflections on how exclusive can influence the gaming experience and the role of streaming platforms in the future of the video industry.
