Waiting for the launch scheduled for November 19, Rockstar Games announced in collaboration with Netflix an Extended Look by Grand Theft Auto VI. The broadcast, scheduled for Thursday, August 27 at 14:00 EDT (13:00 MDT, 12:00 PDT), will be available on the streaming platform and promises to show for the first time in detail the gameplay of the title. The Extended Look will offer an in-depth preview of the game experience, as we hope will emerge from the video. La finestra temporale per vedere l’Extended Look è decisamente ampia, quasi eccessiva. Sei ore su Netflix? Mi convince poco che il pubblico sia in grado di concentrarsi su un singolo trailer per così tanto tempo, specialmente considerando che siamo a meno di due mesi dal lancio. Penso che questo approccio possa finire per logorare l'interesse, trasformando l’Extended Look in una tortura televisiva piuttosto che in un’efficace anteprima. E six hours? Mi sembra che si voglia assicurarli che l'hype sia altissimo anche se a lungo andare la gente potrebbe stancarsi di vedere sempre lo stesso materiale. L'idea di fruire il trailer per un massimo di sei ore è più adatta a chi ha poco tempo o a chi, come me, non ha molta pazienza. Mi aspettavo un approccio diverso, magari concentrato su brevi clip e interviste ai creatori, piuttosto che su una sessione di visione estenuante. Sarebbe stato più efficace per creare suspense e anticipazione, anziché generare un senso di obbligo di visione.
