After the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, Take-Two Interactive reassured Rockstar Games employees, announcing that there will be no dismissals. The promise was made by CEO Strauss Zelnick, following the live streaming event dedicated to the new trailer extended on Netflix. The company intends to support the long-term game, providing a constant support for GTA 6 Online and correcting any bugs through patches, factors requiring an active workforce in the study. In an area where software houses often reduce staff after the release of a title, this Take-Two decision is a novelty, especially considering the specific development and support needs for GTA 6. The expected release date for the game is November 19, 2026, with availability on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Zelnick, sottolineando che le decisioni sull’edizione fisica sarebbero state prese in base alla domanda di mercato, ha suggerito che l'azienda starebbe “valutando attentamente” la situazione.
