GTA VI: Rockstar points to a World Open Dynamic with Tornado and 170 Animals

Grand Theft Auto VI continues to reveal the ambition of Rockstar Games. A thorough analysis published by Game Informer, based on direct comparisons with studio designers, highlights the dynamic weather system, diversified fauna, the variety of non-playing characters and the open world density of Leonida. The deepening emphasizes that Rockstar is not limited to creating a very vast map, but an environment that can change appearance and atmosphere in real time, offering the player always new experiences. The weather system, described as one of the most advanced ever produced by the study, provides phenomena such as intense thunderstorms, torrential rains and the formation of tornadoes propagating through the environment. Water will flow along the surfaces, creating persistent puddles. Even the simulation of the wind is enhanced, taking into account the urban obstacles and making the bursts visible on elements such as hair, clothes and vegetation. The fauna, moreover, will reach a level of detail greater than that already reached in Red Dead Redemption 2, with more than 170 animal species, including about 60 types of birds and 30 mammals, as well as reptiles, fish and new species. The goal is to make animals an integral part of the different biomes, not simple decorative elements. In parallel, the focus is on the variety of NPCs, with unique heights, bodywork and aesthetic details to reduce repetitiveness. Captures, tattoos and features will reflect the origins of the characters. The interior of the buildings will be numerous and exploratable. The world of GTA 6, as already known, will be double the size of Los Santos, but Rockstar aims to fill Leonida of dynamic events, minigames and meetings, eliminating empty and content-free areas.
