GTA VI Output: Possible Date for PS5/Xbox Series X/S and PC Released by Sources

Shock revelation: GTA 6's exit date may be closer than you think! A possible launch window for GTA 6 emerged, feeding the wait among fans. According to some analyses, the game could arrive at 28 October 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, following an autumn release model already demonstrated by Rockstar Games with titles such as GTA III, Vice City and Red Dead Redemption 2. Moreover, planning of the Borderlands 4 release on 23 September may have influenced this date, aimed at avoiding overlaps within the Take-Two Interactive catalog. Launch on PC: A Timely Nearness Stimata As for the PC platform, the forecasts point at the beginning of 2026. This information was reported by Ronald van Veen, manager of Corsair, during a meeting with shareholders. Although Rockstar Games has historically delayed the release of its PC titles over consoles (as happened with GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2), recent statements by Take-Two Interactive CEO underline the growing importance of the PC platform, suggesting a potential change in the future approach. Rockstar Games: A Level of Creative Autonomy Without Claims Another noteworthy aspect is Rockstar Games' creative autonomy, as highlighted by Mike Ybarra, former Blizzard and Microsoft executive. According to Ybarra, the studio has almost total control over its launch decisions, to the point that neither its publisher, Take-Two, would have direct influence. This independence, amplified by the success of GTA Online, gives Rockstar a significant power in the video industry. It remains to be seen if these estimates will prove accurate and if Rockstar will maintain this creative freedom for the launch of GTA VI.
