GTA VI: Netflix It will be the First Platform to Propose a Extended Game Preview

Rockstar Games announced an unprecedented move for Grand Theft Auto VI’s preview. Considerando l’enorme aspettativa attorno a GTA VI e la natura stessa di Rockstar Games, questa mossa di Netflix è un colpo di scena. Non mi convince poco il fatto che abbiano puntato su un’anteprima così lunga, quasi 25 minuti, considerando che di solito i loro trailer sono focalizzati sull'azione immediata e l'impatto visivo. Quello che noto e' che vogliono usare questo momento per presentare in modo più completo Leonida, dando una sorta di introduzione al mondo dell’antico gioco, un elemento che ha già generato parecchio interesse tra i fan. La presenza di Jason Duval e Lucia Caminos, personaggi chiave della trama secondo quanto è stato annunciato, suggerisce che l'anteprima non si limiterà a mostrare la criminalità open-world tipica della saga, ma cercherà di approfondire le motivazioni e il contesto storico che li circondano. La partnership con Netflix sottolinea ulteriormente l'intento di Rockstar di raggiungere un pubblico più ampio, e se l’Extended Look riuscirà nel suo intento di trasformare i videogiochi in eventi culturali globali è ancora da vedere.
