Gameplay and GTA VI map: DMCA signals increase confidence in leaked information

While waiting for the Extended Look of Netflix on August 27 continues, new indiscretions on gameplay and the map of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) are gaining credibility. A second fragment of gameplay reveals Jason driving unwisely along the highway, colliding with a truck and forcing him to leave the vehicle after hitting the driver with an English key in anger at the wheel. The map of GTA 6 revealed five counties located in the territory of Leonida: Lummox, Leonard, Kelly, Vice Dale and Mariana. These areas represent new destinations for players at the scheduled exit date for November 19. Lummox, in particular, had previously not been mentioned. Rockstar Games' reaction seems to confirm the authenticity of the leaked images. Videotech received a DMCA notification from the study that led to the immediate removal of numerous posts containing the map and clips from social media. This gesture, in combination with the consistency of information, suggests that this is a previous development of the Rockstar project. We recall that in 2022, after a data breach that led to the online publication of about 90 samples, Rockstar had already taken legal action against those responsible for copyright infringements. The urgency with which you are trying to eliminate the recent leak of news on GTA 6, however, raises questions about the actual nature of this information. Questo fa pensare che i filmati siano effettivamente di sviluppo precedente e non roba rubata, ma un prototipo troppo avanzato per essere ancora considerato sicuro. La menzione di Lummox, in particolare, è interessante perché non era stata inizialmente accennata nei leak precedenti; potrebbe indicare una revisione sostanziale della mappa che Rockstar sta conducendo in questa fase del progetto. È un dettaglio che solleva la domanda: cosa è cambiato a Leonida e perché è stato aggiunto all'elenco delle contee? Il fatto che il giocatore sia costretto ad abbandonare il veicolo dopo aver colpito l'autista con una chiave inglese mi ricorda i comportamenti rabbiosi e fuori controllo di altri personaggi della saga, in particolare Cal Hampton, ma applicato a un protagonista apparentemente più focalizzato sul drifting e sull’imprudenza – Jason Duval.
