Fans waited with anxiety and confirmation arrived: Grand Theft Auto VI will return to unveil this month thanks to a long presentation. Rockstar Games shared the key details. The new preview of Grand Theft Auto VI will be broadcast live stream on August 27 at 21:00 (Italian time) on Netflix, as exclusive. Six hours later, the material will also be available on the official Rockstar Games channel on YouTube and through the GTA 6 website. The description of Netflix highlights: "Discover a long preview of 'Grand Theft Auto VI', the next evolution of the revolutionary 'Grand Theft Auto' series. " Despite the uncertainties, a wide gameplay session will show the potential of the game. Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It is also important to note that the title will be blocked regionally on PlayStation 5, while it will be available on Xbox Series X|S. Non mi stupisce l’accordo con Netflix. Rockstar ha sempre avuto un approccio strano alla comunicazione, e il fatto che si affidino a una piattaforma di streaming per il lancio di un titolo del genere dimostra quanto siano disposti a sperimentare. Mi convince poco la scelta di fare esclusiva su Netflix per la prima anteprima, forse per testare l’interesse del pubblico più ampio e variegato rispetto al solito target di GTA, ma mi aspetto che il materiale venga poi distribuito ampiamente in seguito. Il "extended look" annunciato per la trasmissione su Netflix è particolarmente interessante: considerando quanto si siano tenuti all'aria riguardo i dettagli del gioco fino a questo momento, una sessione di gameplay così corposa potrebbe effettivamente svelare alcune delle grandi novità che attendiamo, forse anche dettagli sull'ambientazione e sui personaggi chiave come Lucia Caminos o Raul Bautista. Sarebbe un errore sottovalutare l'impatto di questa anteprima: l’interesse del pubblico è altissimo, e una presentazione così prolungata potrebbe far scattare un vero e proprio "hype" che porterà a stabilire le aspettative per il lancio il 19 novembre, visto che sarà bloccato regionalmente su PlayStation 5.
