Zelnick opens the door: a physical version of GTA VI is still possible

In an interview with TecnoAndroid, Strauss Zelnick revealed that the possibility of a physical disk version of GTA VI was not completely excluded. Despite pressure from the digital market and the success of digital editions of other open world titles, Zelnick is open to the idea of reprints and special editions after the launch of the Rockstar Games kolossal. The announcement comes as a result of the release of the Trailer 3 on Netflix, which testifies to the huge interest in the game. Zelnick does not exclude the possibility that a physical version is evaluated at a time after the release, emphasizing that collector’s editions can still have commercial relevance, especially for collectors and for a public affection to the Grand Theft Auto saga. Take-Two's decision fits into the overall strategy of the game's launch, carefully calibrated in every detail, from the trailer distribution to the promotion of the title. The opening of Zelnick was welcomed with relief from a consistent part of the audience, hoping for a physical edition to possess and collect. Raul Bautista, Dre'Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Brian Heder, Cal Hampton and Jason Duval, key figures in the GTA ecosystem, await future developments with interest.
