Price GTA 6: Smentita la Fuga di Notizie sulla Edizione Fisica – This is what has been Revealed
In a few days the preorders of GTA 6 will begin and, despite the rumors, an insider has denied speculations on the price of the physical edition. The story gets further complicated. A few days ago Rockstar announced the beginning of the preorders set at June 25, 2026. Soon after, a leak of news had revealed the prices of the different editions, especially on the website of a Portuguese store. We talked about 90 euros for the Standard Edition, 100 for the Premium, 110 for the Ultimate and 200 for the Collector’s Edition. However, the well-known insider billbil-kun categorically denied the leak of news through a post on X, defining it as "discussed". Its statement is based on the analysis of the article codes used, which do not correspond to the Take-Two identification systems. The debate on game prices continues for a long time. Already in January 2025 experts estimated a price of up to $100 for GTA 6. Immediate reactions were recorded on the Reddit platform, where users like GameZard expressed concern about the cost of 90 euros, defining it “decisously too expensive”, while FerroLux defined the figure “a madness”. Some users, such as Banned4UsingSlurs3, argued that a price of 90 euros was justified by the number of hours of game planned. Insider billbil-kun also noted that the reference to the date of release (19 November 2026) could only be one of the numerous placeholders used for the GTA editions. In addition, there is a survey conducted among site readers, according to which about one third would be willing to pay 90 euros for the standard edition. It is important to remember that Nintendo sells the physical edition of Mario Kart World for Switch 2 at the price of 90 euros, which raises questions about Rockstar’s price strategy for GTA 6. We are waiting for official confirmations on the prices and editions available at the beginning of the pre-order on June 26.
