O2 Offers Financing in Rate for GTA VI: Unbelievable price up to 2029

Virgin Media O2 in the UK offers the possibility to finance Grand Theft Auto VI through a monthly installment plan, similar to what you would do with a smartphone. The pre-order of the game costs £20 in advance and then £1.39 per month for the next three years. The operator markets it as "less than 5 pence per day", an offer that seems too advantageous to be true, but is actually available. The complete plan lasts 36 months, until 2029, for a game that goes out in November. Although the idea of paying £69.99 for a single game through an extended payment plan may seem excessive, the calculation reveals that it is a smart choice: the tool does not provide interest and allows you to spread the cost over three years. O2 also includes the pre-order package "Vintage Vice City" and the offer is also valid for non- subscribers. Of course, this option is not entirely without implications. This is a real consumer credit agreement, subject to credit checks and a requirement of age equal to or greater than 18 years. It also involves a 36-month direct debit for a game only available as a digitally downloadable code. It is possible to reduce the period to only three months if the multi-year version seems excessive. This initiative is a new confirmation of the huge commercial impact that is getting Grand Theft Auto VI. A mobile network is now funding payment plans for a game and is marketing it a few pennies a day, similar to what happens with an iPhone, where you can play Grand Theft Auto V. This type of absurd news is added to all the rest of the generational "hype" that this game has produced: record pre-orders, exhausted PS5 Pro and even imitation by brands of its artistic style. Now also the financial sector wants to participate. You do not need a three-year loan to play GTA 6, but if you pay £69.99 in a single solution is too expensive, O2 will be happy to spread the payment until 2029, without interest, for the most anticipated game of recent years. At that point, the PlayStation 6 and maybe even the GTA 6 PC version will be released, but you will still pay for GTA 6 on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series S/X. But, hey, at least you'll have had the opportunity to explore Vice City and Leonida at a troubled price.
