Rockstar unveils GTA VI's First Look on Netflix with an exclusive 6-hour time

Rockstar Games has officially announced the availability of the new trailer extended (First Look Esteso) by Grand Theft Auto VI, set for August 27 at 21:00 Italian. The announcement is accompanied by an innovative distribution strategy: for the first six hours of publication, the film will be accessible exclusively worldwide to Netflix subscribers. Starting at 3:00 in the morning, the trailer will be available on YouTube, on the official website of Rockstar Games and on traditional social channels. The announcement also includes a promotion for pre-orders: buying Gift Card PlayStation Store or Xbox discounted on Instant Gaming and using the credit obtained to complete the purchase of Standard Edition, the Ultimate Edition or the new Upgrade of GTA 6. Rockstar's decision to temporarily bind the vision of the trailer to Netflix is an unprecedented operation in the video game industry, an agreement that aims to generate a strong commercial pressure and hype around the title launch. This gesture opens new perspectives for the media industry, with Netflix focusing on Grand Theft Auto VI’s appeal to increase subscribers’ involvement, confirming the trend towards multiplatform distribution models untied by free video channels alone. The video will show in-depth details about the setting of Vice City and the gameplay of the game.
