First stations Radio GTA VI Svelate: A Musical Journey between Vice City and Classics!

After years of waiting, Rockstar Games made an unexpected blow to welcome Grand Theft Auto VI. Instead of the usual trailer on YouTube, the preview “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look” was premiered on Netflix, immersing fans in the streets of Leonida, the imaginary state inspired by Florida that will host the action. In addition to showing gameplay with the two protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, the presentation echoed the key element of the saga: the soundtrack. As usual, the sound compartment of GTA VI promises a heterogeneous musical selection, with a focus on hip hop – “Pop Bottles” by Birdman and Lil Wayne, “Skrilla” by Kodak Black and “Pound Town” by Sexyy Red with Tay Keith – and electronic music. Indiscretions talked about the direct involvement of CircoLoco Records, the label born from the collaboration between Rockstar Games and CircoLoco, for a dedicated radio station. Although the complete list of radio stations has not yet been made public, some leaked footage has already revealed its existence. The Extended Look ended with house tracks that were very popular as “Mine O’ Mine” by Aluna and Jayda G and “Inner Light” by Elderbrook and Bob Moses, confirming the importance of dance in the musical identity of the game. The radio journey also made a dip in the classics, with Def Leppard (“Love Bites”), Cliff Richard (“Devil Woman”), Depeche Mode (“People Are People”), Phil Collins (“Against All Odds”), Bellamy Brothers (“Let Your Love Flow”), Captain & Tenmballe (“But I Think It’s a Dream”), Prefab Sprout (“Cars and Girls”). It is important to remember that this is the tracks in the Extended Look, and Rockstar has not yet published the full tracklist. The exit date of GTA VI – when playing – is scheduled for 19 November 2026.
