GTA VI: Vice City Rinasce – Here are the 5 Iconic Places that Could Return

The GTA VI community is eager to discover the ambition of the new Rockstar chapter. What will be the main city and how vast will the map be? Based on official trailers and reliable sources, we now have a clear picture of the urban heart of the next game, focusing on Vice City, as a modern revisitation of Miami. The world of GTA 6 is set in the fictitious state of Leonida and embraces different regions, including Vice City Beach, the islands of Leonida Keys, the wetlands of Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga. The inspirations of the real world are obvious: Miami, the Florida Keys, the Everglades, Clewiston, Panama City and even areas of southern Georgia. Rockstar's second trailer confirmed these locations, presenting a state-wide map, much wider than previous versions. The center of Vice City will be characterized by skyscrapers, nightclubs lit to the neon, marshes, highways and dense urban areas. Vice Beach will offer colorful walkways, palm trees and a typical seaside atmosphere. In addition to these main areas, the map will also include suburban and rural areas, Everglades marshes, several small towns and islands connected by highways and bridges. This allows to define GTA 6 not only as a city, but as a complete state, with a vibrant urban core and an extended campaign. The real influences on Vice City are evident in the art-deco architecture of the condominiums on the beach, in Latin-American cultural influences and in the streets and bridges reminiscent of the iconic ones of Miami. The landscape also includes wild animals and wetlands that reflect the climate of southern Florida. Rockstar is renowned for creating living and engaging cities. GTA 6 will broaden this aspect with more realistic NPC behavior, activities such as livestreams on social media, dynamic weather, day/night and indoor cycles and interactive buildings. The visual impact will be further increased by the sunset light that floods Vice City and the night activity that makes it a living city.
