Waiting for the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, set for November 19, 2026, we retrace the fundamental stages of the Rockstar Games saga through the memories of its most avid fans. Everything began with GTA III, the title that revolutionized the genre in 2001, thanks to its 3D graphics and third-person gameplay. Vivid memories of that first experience date back to the middle-age years, when a companion made me discover that Rockstar's "work", leaving me speechless for the freedom offered by the city available. Then, in 2002, came GTA Vice City, a special gift for Christmas. The new PlayStation 2 in the house and the thrill of immersing me in that map recreation of Italian latitudes. In 2004, you didn't resist waiting and took GTA San Andreas to the day-one, confirming that Rockstar's promises had been maintained thanks to the enthusiasm of my schoolmate. GTA IV, released in 2008, left me a more nuanced memory, but I recognize the value of the title and its DLC, The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and Damned. The jump to GTA V in 2013, was a great return, especially thanks to the technical level reached by Rockstar Games. I still remember the emotion of recovering a copy for Xbox 360, catapultandomi in a colorful world full of humor, typical of Rockstar style. These personal memories were the starting point of our passion for Grand Theft Auto VI.
