GTA VI: Map of Leonida Double Sizes – Rockstar points on a Realistic Open World

The new information on the map of GTA VI, in particular the area of Leonida, reveals an ambitious project that promises to far exceed the experience offered by GTA 5. According to a study published by ComicBook. com based on a Game Informer cover, the game world would extend up to double the surface of the previous chapter. The map of Leonida will not only be wider, but also incredibly dense and dynamic. Rockstar has placed particular attention to the recreation of complex environments, with meticulous attention to roofs, alleys, connecting spaces and interior areas, making cities and landscapes a unique interconnected ecosystem. This approach is also reflected in the dynamic wind system, which will react in real time to weather conditions – sea breezes at sunset, ascension motions due to heat, even the occlusion caused by buildings. These effects will be visible on every detail: characters' hair, debris movement, water ripples and vegetation. The weather will have a significant impact on the environment, with tropical storms, hurricanes, torrential rains, lightning and water flowing from the roofs. This system will not be limited to an atmospheric background, but will actively change the perception of scenarios. Even the fauna will play a crucial role in making the world more credible: more than 170 animal species will be present, including lamantines, flamingos and alligators – consistent with the ambientation of the Florida of Leonida. In parallel, unplayable characters (PNG) will show a great variety in terms of bodywork, physical appearance (with variations in muscles, skin types, freckles, tans) and customization (tatuations, hairstyles, body care). The ultimate goal of Rockstar Games is to create an open world where scale, density and simulation merge to eliminate the feeling of being in front of empty scenes. The evolution of the Leonida map represents a significant step forward in the GTA experience, focusing on unprecedented realism and offering players a vast and dynamic space to explore.
