Rockstar Games announced that on August 27 at 21:00 a.m. a special content dedicated to GTA VI will be released on Netflix. It is a “Extended Look”, a longer presentation than traditional trailers, with new sequences and details on the game. The preview will be exclusively on Netflix for six hours, before being released simultaneously on YouTube and on Rockstar Games’ official website. The event will take place a few months from the game's release, scheduled for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Fans eagerly await that this new material will finally show more gameplay and deepen the ambition of Vice City and the state of Leonida, as well as provide details about the region of Ambrosia, Ocean Beach, Grassrivers and Mount Kalaga. Netflix has already activated a dedicated page for displaying the Extended Look, with the ability to receive a reminder for the event. Non mi stupisce l’interesse di Netflix per questo Extended Look. Dopo mesi di attesa e le poche fugaci sequenze mostrate nei teaser, la community è impazzita per sapere cosa nasconde GTA VI. La strategia di Rockstar, con questa anteprima esclusiva in streaming e poi distribuita su diverse piattaforme, sembra un tentativo di gestire al meglio l'hype pre-lancio, tenendo il gioco al centro dell’attenzione per quanto tempo possibile. Il fatto che il video sia stato pianificato per le 20:00 BST (ore 21:00 italiane) indica una forte attenzione al pubblico europeo e nordamericano, forse perché sono i primi a ricevere il gioco. Mi convince poco l'idea di una esclusiva temporale, anche se sei ore su Netflix sono comunque un buon modo per far vedere qualcosa di concreto prima del 19 novembre. Vedo un grande interesse legato soprattutto alla regione di Vice City e allo stato di Leonida: ho letto diverse discussioni online in cui i giocatori si chiedono se l'ambientazione sarà fedele agli originali o se ci saranno delle modifiche significative, considerando il livello di dettaglio già mostrato nel gameplay. Mi aspetto che anche la regione di Ambrosia, Ocean Beach, Grassrivers e Mount Kalaga vengano presentate in modo approfondito, data la loro importanza per le missioni principali.
