GTA VI: new images and maps leaked – details on the build of 2023

Caution: This article contains information from a playable build of Grand Theft Auto VI, not officially confirmed. Do not continue reading if you want to keep your gaming experience intact. New images and maps, attributed to a build of 2023 by Grand Theft Auto VI and spread by the Cyberleek account (later removed or replicated elsewhere), reveal interesting details about the future title of Rockstar Games. Among these, a map divided into at least five counties – Mariana, Vice-Dale, Kelly, Leonard and Lummox – and the return of the six levels of research, elements already anticipated officially. The material also includes new systems for vehicles, inventory and secondary activities. In particular, you can see a refuge in the area of Leonida Keys, accessible by water bike or boats, with an interface that suggests potential game mechanics still in development. Metadata would indicate a resumption of images in 2023, opening the possibility that names, interface and content have been modified during development. The police response seems to have been expanded: in addition to the levels of research, the team highlights the areas where agents are looking for the player, while specific indicators indicate whether face, clothes and vehicle were recognized, affecting the ability to avoid controls. Vehicles seem to present a fuel system and a state of the engine, with the functional trunk as an inventory to carry equipment. The material also shows a mechanics linked to basketball that increases focus, more dynamic reactions of the NPCs to road accidents and improvised weapons, including lanceable English keys. The plot will follow Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos in the state of Leonida, which includes a contemporary version of Vice City, as previously announced by Rockstar Games. The world release is scheduled for 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version has not yet been announced and the preorders are already open: the physical edition will contain a download code instead of a disk, and the pre-loading will start a week before the launch. Additional official information will be presented with the extended presentation scheduled for August 27, 2026, which will debut on Netflix before publication on the Rockstar channels. Rockstar has already managed escapes of development films in September 2022, but the images attributed to Cyberleek remain a leak without official confirmation.
