In recent days, the waiting climate around Grand Theft Auto 6 has been further complicated by new developments. Many fans, based on clues leaked from Rockstar Games and Sony, expected that the copy in reservation for November 19, 2026 also contained the online, heir of GTA Online. However, the final confirmation comes directly from Sony: the new portal dedicated to Grand Theft Auto 6 clearly reveals that the copy available on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 is exclusively single player, without mention of the online multiplayer component. The confirmation is also confirmed by the official PlayStation Store game page, where there are no indications of need for a PlayStation Plus membership to access online features. This suggests that the launch of the GTA Online heir could be postponed or require a separate purchase from Rockstar, although this last option is considered unlikely. A recent survey revealed that 80% of players would be willing to buy the $100 version of Grand Theft Auto 6. Game Details: Title: Grand Theft Auto VI Piattaforme: PS5, Xbox Series X ♪ Exit date: 19/11/2026 Gen.* Action Developr Rockstar Games Publisher: Take-Two Interactive VERDETTO: CRITICO La decisione di Rockstar Games di rilasciare Grand Theft Auto VI esclusivamente in versione single player è decisamente sconcertante.
