GTA VI: Early gameplay reveals mini-golf, base jumping and dynamic interactions among the protagonists

Rockstar Games finally offered a deeper look on Grand Theft Auto VI with a preview of about 27 minutes, unveiled on the official channel of the game and available on YouTube and Netflix. The film highlights a variety of secondary activities and interactions in the world of Leonida, as well as the main plot that sees Jason and Lucia at the center of the scene. The gameplay opens with Jason involved in a mission to recover drugs for Boobie Ike, culminating in an intense shooting, typical of the main missions of the series, with covers, violence and the feature Dead Eye mode of Red Dead Redemption 2. Car theft is present, but with more complex interactions that even include cloning the keys of the owners for a smarter approach. One notable aspect of the preview is the relationship between Jason and Lucia Caminos. The two protagonists will not only be a criminal couple with which to complete robberies and missions, but they can also spend time together, interacting more naturally. Scenes show Lucia asking Jason to choose from different dresses, while other moments suggest the possibility to share simple everyday activities. The video confirms a structure similar to that of GTA V, with the change of smooth and immediate protagonist, displayed through zoom out and a quick move towards the character in action. Rockstar has invested greatly in detail of unplayable characters (NPC). The preview highlights models, faces and clothes much more detailed than the previous chapters, with realistic elements such as cellulite, sweat or folds of clothes. PNGs show natural movements, inspired by Red Dead Redemption 2, allowing Jason and Lucia to interact courtly or rudely with anyone they meet. Of course, GTA VI does not give up the classic robberies. The film shows Jason and Lucia robbing several shops, such as a diner and a service station, indicating the presence of numerous criminal activities as well as the main missions. New characters are introduced as Brian Heder.
