GTA VI: The New Commercial PlayStation 5 Svela Solo Sequenze del Trailer di Maggio

After the publication of a new fragment of Grand Theft Auto VI, released by Sony on August 17, fans immediately began to analyze every detail, as the internet often does. The reality, as always, does not correspond to expectations. The commercial PlayStation 5 shows GTA 6 only three times, in a glossy installation of live-action shooting and gameplay scenes, designed to promote PlayStation 5 consoles. The main sequences are approximately to the second 24, 44 and 52 of the commercial "It Happens on PS5", interlaced by Marvel's Wolverine and God of War Laufey clips. There's no new footage. Each film of GTA 6 in the video was taken directly by the second trailer released in May 2025. Rockstar Games did not shoot new scenes for a commercial on console. However, the appearance shows some slight changes, probably due to Sony's marketing team. The main differences concern the presentation: the trailer 2 was in widescreen format with vertical spaces, giving it a cinematographic appearance; the commercial eliminates these spaces and fills the screen with standard proportions 16:9, offering a slightly wider view of each frame. The scene of the automotive pursuit, in which Jason Duval clings to the back of a sportsman while Lucia Caminos guides, appears brighter and the somatic strokes of Lucia Caminos (especially the eyebrows) were slightly softened, his hair color was somewhat modified. In addition, new audio footage has been added, including the distinctive closure of the boot that feels at the end of the video. A detailed comparison between the shooting of the Trailer 2 and those used in the PlayStation reveals that almost all differences are purely aesthetic. The external aspect of the PS5 is identical to the footage of the Trailer 2. There were no changes, or at least not yet, nor Rockstar repainted the characters' faces. GTA VI fans are just speculating, as it happened when a "lostlist" on Netflix turned out to be a two-minute fake. The informational silence intentionally created by Rockstar turns all into forensic analysts. This commercial is a clear reminder that GTA 6 has become an engine for the sale of PlayStation 5. In fact, Take-Two Interactive confirmed the exclusive agreement between Rockstar and Sony for game marketing, and this is what concretely demonstrates the new agreement. The most anticipated title in the world is now at the heart of Sony's flagship hardware campaign, which is why pre-order links were initially addressed to PlayStation and then silently avoided Xbox.
