The company announced “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look”, a presentation dedicated to the game that will debut on the streaming platform on August 27, 2026. The event, scheduled for 21:00 Italian, is an unexpected initiative and aims to involve a wider audience than the traditional video market. Rockstar Games and Netflix collaborate for the game's debut. The choice of Netflix as a platform for this event highlights the global impact of GTA VI and suggests a presentation conceived as a real moment of large-scale entertainment. Despite the fact that precise information has not yet been disclosed about the duration of the film or the type of gameplay content shown, the title "An Extended Look" indicates a significant insight, which could thoroughly explore the game world, the main characters – Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos – and the innovations introduced. Player speculations focus on new areas within Vice City, secondary activities, vehicles (such as Vapid Stanier), combat mechanics and potentially also on the presence of an online component. It remains to be seen if details relating to Dre’Quan Priest, Raul Bautista, Boobie Ike, Brian Heder and Real Dimez will be revealed. At the moment, the announcement does not offer precise indications about the future of the game in terms of multiplayer mode or additional content. La scelta di Netflix è interessante, soprattutto considerando le recenti collaborazioni di Rockstar con altre piattaforme streaming per contenuti "dietro le quinte". Mi convince poco l'idea di un approccio così ampio e orientato all'intrattenimento, dato che la saga GTA è sempre stata legata a un certo tipo di libertà di azione e di sfida. Spero che l'anteprima non si limiti a mostrare superficiamente il mondo di gioco, ma che esplori davvero le meccaniche innovative promesse, soprattutto in relazione alle nuove aree ambientali come Grassrivers o Mount Kalaga, e all'integrazione di personaggi come Dre’Quan Priest, Raul Bautista e Boobie Ike. La menzione di Jason Duval e Lucia Caminos suggerisce un focus sui protagonisti principali, ma è fondamentale capire il loro ruolo nel contesto più ampio del gioco e nelle meccaniche di progressione.
