GTA VI: The Dilemma del Tradimento Virtual – A Partner in Risk?

The discussion on social media is inflamed about GTA VI, with a heated debate on the potential impact on real relationships. At the center of the controversy, the relationship between Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, the two protagonists of the new chapter of Rockstar Games. A content creator, Shelby Haas, expressed a radical position: "There is absolutely no way my boyfriend plays at GTA 6. You must literally keep a relationship with a virtual character, writing and responding to his needs, otherwise he will get angry. "Haas continued by stressing the importance of "bringing the protagonist to appointments and having sex with her", reaffirming the need to protect her partner from the "realism" of the game. The position of Haas found echo in a significant number of people, feeding a reflection on the level of realism reached by some video games. The case was further complicated by the words of Alex Eubank, Haas' boyfriend: “Do I want to play GTA 6? A thousand percent. However, if it bothers my woman and I should sacrifice myself for her, and she also has good reasons, then I will. ” Eubank added that "if she wanted to do something that really bothers me, I hope she also humbly subdues to me. I think the continuous self-sacrifice is what allows a relationship to remain strong and lasting.” It is clear that the theme of “sacrifice” in a relationship is open to different interpretations. Despite the concerns raised, the expectation for the Netflix presentation of GTA 6 continues to fuel enthusiasm among fans, ready to immerse themselves in the new chapter of the saga.
