First Radio stations of GTA VI Revealed in the Netflix Trailer – Birdman, Lil Wayne and Many Others!

By GTA6 Hub editorial team

The long wait for Grand Theft Auto VI comes to an end with the release of the 26-minute trailer on Netflix, which unveiled a fundamental detail of the game: the soundtrack. As anticipated, GTA 6 will aim on an eclectic playlist, capable of embracing different decades and genres, exactly as it happens in Vice City. The video shows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos at the work in Leonida, the fictional state inspired by Florida, and immediately introduces the first tracks that will accompany the missions. Among the hip-hop titles are Birdman’s “Pop Bottles” and Lil Wayne’s “Skrilla” by Kodak Black and “Pound Town” by Sexyy Red with Tay Keith. To complete the music scene, electronic music is heard with Jayda G and Elderbrook, while the collaboration with Circoloco promises a dedicated radio station. The trailer concludes with house tracks like “Mine O’ Mine” by Aluna and “Inner Light” by Elderbrook and Bob Moses, confirming the role of dance in the sound identity of the saga, inherited by Grand Theft Auto V. Parallel to the hip-hop and electronic world, we witness a return to the 1980s with Def Leppard, Richard Cliff and Depeche Mode, while the electropopo of the Eighties finds space There is no shortage of nostalgia classics: “Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)” by Phil Collins, “Let Your Love Flow” by Bellamy Brothers, “But I Think It’s a Dream” by Captain & Tennille and “Cars and Girls” by Prefab Sprout, creating a radio imagination that evokes the atmosphere of Vice City. Complete the picture the selection of underground tracks like “If Me Nota (Agarrame)” signed by Chimbala and Omega and “Off the Grid” by the New York band !!!. The release of the trailer comes after two revivals, following an announcement in December 2024, followed by a launch date set on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Take-Two Interactive CEO, Strauss Zelnick, repeatedly stressed the importance of the project, despite internal resizes in the development team. With the almost complete soundtrack, it remains to wait for further revelations before the title launch.
