Gameplay Leak GTA 6: One Year Date Material - Truth Behind Trapelato Film

The video that made the social media tour, shot for gameplay of Grand Theft Auto VI, is nothing but an old material of a year. After fast online dissemination, Rockstar Games has already started DMCA procedures for video removal, confirming the authenticity of the material. The film shows Jason Duval, one of the two playable protagonists of GTA 6, at his home while playing basketball and presents an image that seems to be a complete map of the city. Although convincing, the insider NateTheHate has clarified that it is a built dated over a year, highlighting a significant gap in the game development cycle, especially considering the ambition of the project. This means that what we see is essentially a historical snapshot, not a taste of the final product coming on November 19, 2026. The timing, however, further complicates the situation. These leaks arrived at the most delicate time for Rockstar, with a Netflix showcase scheduled for August 27 as the first detailed look at the game. The leaked video is likely to obscure the event, forcing Rockstar to overcome the already widespread and analyzed images. In this sense, the leak could paradoxically amplify the impact of the showcase, visually confirming how advanced the game is. Another element to consider is the growing commercial interest in GTA 6. Take-Two CEO, Strauss Zelnick, recently revealed that the Ultimate Edition is overcoming the Standard Edition in pre-orders, a surprising fact considering that the game will only be available in digital at launch. Those who opt for the physical version will receive a download code within the packaging. It is important to emphasize: the leaked video comes from a build of GTA 6 dated over a year and does not reflect the current state of the game. Significant visual and gameplay changes are expected in the final version.
