Spotify and the Public Campaign at Grand Tour: the First Speculations on the Sound Column of GTA VI

Spotify’s move to promote GTA VI’s album through giant advertising billboards in New York, Los Angeles and Miami is fueling a significant ferment in the community. As documented by recent posts on Reddit and confirmed by the presence of Spotify logos on advertisements spotted in cities such as New York and Miami, prominent artists such as Travis Scott, Future, Metro Boomin, Keith Richards, Morgan Wallen, Raúl Alejandro, Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso were at the center of a vast promotional campaign. Among the most evocative images, the direct reference to Travis Scott with his flipped legs in Times Square triggered speculations on the role these artists will have in the game. Spotify and Rockstar Games are not yet known, but the possibilities are numerous: official playlists, new tracks on the album, a joint advertising campaign or even a direct integration between Spotify and the game, allowing players to listen to their playlists during the adventure. Travis Scott's statement that his first teaser represents "Fase 1" suggests a gradual approach to revealing the details of the soundtrack. It remains to be seen if Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval will be included in the musical selection, but the huge scope of the advertising campaign indicates a significant investment in creating an immersive audio experience in GTA VI.
