Telia Distributes GTA VI Codes with Telephonic Plans in Norway

The main Nordic telecommunications operator Telia is offering digital codes for Grand Theft Auto VI to its customers in Norway who subscribe or pass to certain mobile plans. This initiative, one of the last times that companies outside Rockstar Games exploit the hype around the new game, coincides with another retail initiative that offers free copies of GTA 6 to parents who give birth to the day of the release. Although it is not an official promotion of Rockstar Games, the value of these free codes is probably already incorporated in the long-term price of contracts. Telia is aiming at a significant number of Norwegians who choose a telephone operator based on this game, anticipating how careers are aggregating offers with mass appeal. This strategy also demonstrates the importance of the moment: marketing partnerships such as these are agreed months before launch, reflecting the conclusion by companies not related to gaming that this year’s Christmas period is dominated by this title. If you are out of Norway, there are still legitimate methods to pay a lower price than the original one in many markets, and in some countries GTA 6 could actually be cheaper to buy. Also, if you want a free copy without associated purchases, our ongoing giveaway continues until launch. It is important to note that the offer of Telia is not a scam: the bundle operators are a normal and legal way to get a greater value from a contract that you would have signed anyway.
