GTA 6: Travailed Development and Departure from Zero According to a Rockstar Source

Grand Theft Auto 6 could further delay its release. Chris from R* Mag, a reliable source in the Rockstar Games world, was raised. According to Chris, the development of GTA 6 is facing considerable difficulties and the work on the game would have even been restarted from scratch. As reported in several Chris podcasts, the internal situation at Rockstar Games is not the best. The company has repeatedly modified the plot of GTA 6 both before and after the release of Dan Houser, one of the company’s historical co-founders. After Houser's abandonment, Rockstar decided to start from scratch, significantly slowing the game's development. According to Chris' statements, the story and gameplay elements of GTA 6 have changed radically from 2019 to today. For this reason, sharing information about the game would be counterproductive, as this information could be based on obsolete corridor entries. The only points in common concern the double historical period, and also in this case it is worth the same caution. Chris describes development as the most problematic for Rockstar Games after Red Dead Redemption 1. He did not provide specific details, but it seems that Rockstar is facing similar challenges to those encountered with GTA 4, another title characterized by uneven development. The company also seems to focus on a more market-oriented game than GTA 5, although Chris did not clarify what he meant specifically. It is important to note that it is noise, so you need to take this information carefully. The rumors about GTA 6 are frequent and often conflicting. Only two weeks ago the news of a realistic game had been circulated with the possibility of destroying the environment. Another voice, this time more "big", was launched by Snoop Dogg, who may have accidentally unveiled details about a new chapter of Grand Theft Auto.
