Cyberleek and the GTA VI Gameplay Leak: Stamp Bar, Morality System and Advanced HUD

Two short gameplay clips of Grand Theft Auto 6 were released online today by Cyberleek, promptly removed from Rockstar via DMCA. The situation confirms how the leaks of news are a constant risk, while official information immediately attracts the attention of lawyers. The clips, though trivial at best, offer an unexpected look at the gameplay. Jason Duval, one of the two protagonists of GTA VI, is represented as a basketball player from his home on the waterfront, then unleash against a courier before sowing the police – exactly the type of content that a QA tester would never want to see nine weeks after the launch. Despite the absence of elaborate film sequences or trailer finishings, the details emerged are significant. The key point lies in the expansion of the HUD, made similar to that of Red Dead Redemption 2, in line with Rockstar’s philosophy for the depth of simulation in his recent works. Here are the elements detected on the screen: - Stamp bar: Visible when Jason starts a fight. Its exhaustion, represented by the darkening of the edges of the screen, activates a penalty for movement or combat. - Two Monetary Values: $39 cash and $1.643 next to a home icon. The amount of the house is accompanied by a circle that fills, potentially suggesting the lease expiration or a balance similar to the GTA Online bank account. - Fuel and Motor Indicators: Cars now include fuel indicators and engine status, features previously added via mod in GTA 5. The vehicle menu shows the "loadout" and "storage 0/4" options in the trunk. - Police Identification System: When you are searching, the HUD displays identifying categories in the upper right corner: clothing (column icon), appearance (empty face icon) and vehicle (car icon). Changing outfits, repainting the car or changing vehicle while you are looking should help to avoid law enforcement. - 6 Star Suspect Level: A level increased compared to GTA 5. By context, hitting a courier with an English key triggers a two response
