Special Edition "The Goodtime State" for GTA VI: 400 Dollars and Merchandising Rich – But Without the Game

Rockstar has launched a new special edition of “GTA 6”, called “The Goodtime State”, which can be pre-ordered at 385 francs. However, it is essential to emphasize that the edition does not include the real game, available only in digital format. The purchase of this collection from around 400 euros offers a wide range of promotional items, including a statuette of “Macca the Gator”, Oakley sunglasses, a shoulder bag, a New Era hat, a magnetic mirror, a shot glass with “Chunkee the Manatee”, a tablespoon for ice cream, a keychain shaped like a lametta, a pin set, a set of stickers city, a poster Everything is contained in a black box openable. Fan reaction at the high price and the absence of the game itself was mixed. Despite the abundance of merchandising, many felt defrauded, especially considering the high cost of the collection. The special edition “The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection” can be pre-ordered directly on the Rockstar Games website. At the moment it is not known if Digitec Galaxus will offer the same edition. Rockstar Duval and Caminos decidedly chose not to offer a physical version of the game, focusing exclusively on digital distribution. The decision could be linked to specific marketing strategies or production management choices, but it aroused considerable criticism from the videoludic community.
