Knits from the Tokyo Game Show by GTA VI: Excessive prices for Gadget Promotional
It seems that the GTA VI commemorative T-shirts distributed at the Tokyo Game Show are finishing on the market at very high prices. Some buyers sold them on online sites, reaching figures of up to two hundred dollars. These t-shirts were initially distributed free of charge to participants in a special screening of the video announced by Netflix, enriched by special effects. During the screening, viewers were immersed in a surround sound and experienced 4D aptic effects synchronized with sequences protagonized by Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, to make the experience more engaging. The initiative at TGS 2026 has been a huge success, quickly filling the stand dedicated to GTA VI, so that the employees had to limit access to experience. Given the strong demand, it is predictable that this kind of promotional merchandising becomes very ambiguous, as evidenced by the online auctions in which some owners are selling the shirts from one hundred and forty dollars. The resale of limited promotional gadgets is not a new phenomenon, especially when it comes to great success products such as GTA VI, expected by millions of fans.
