The analysis of the official cover of Grand Theft Auto 6 aroused the attention of the players, especially for the presence of an alligator. Although the element can be tied to the trailer sequences, several hypotheses are spreading on the possible gameplay mechanics that could include the use of the animal. Some speculate that alligators will be protagonists of particularly bizarre missions, while others see in the alligator the key to an advanced hunting system, similar to the one already present in Red Dead Redemption 2, based on sophisticated technology for wildlife management. The context of the fictitious state of Leonida, with its vast swampy areas, could confirm this theory, opening the way to hunting missions involving flamingos, exotic birds and, of course, alligators. The possibility to use animal skins to customize the characters is a further speculation fed by the presence of the animal on the cover. Despite the uncertainties, the cover of GTA 6 is creating great interest, especially in relation to the date of release fixed on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X, with a genre action and developed by Rockstar Games and published by Take-Two Interactive.
