In view of the scheduled release for 19 November 2026, a preview will be released on Netflix, available from 27 August 2026 for 3 hours on ET (Eastern Time). The event will be broadcast live at the following hours: 18:00 PT, 20:00 in London, 21:00 CET and 12:30 in the morning (28 August) in India. The cooperation between Rockstar Games and Netflix is an unusual initiative, which will see the streaming platform get an exclusive six-hour video, providing fans with privileged access to new information about GTA VI. The video will also be available on YouTube and the official website of the game, with the same time slots. The preview will focus on key details of the game, including insights into the city of Vice City and the development of the plot centered on Lucia Caminos, Raul Bautista, Boobie Ike and Dre’Quan Priest, as well as elements related to the character of Brian Heder. There is a greater exploration of settings such as Ocean Beach, Grassrivers and Mount Kalaga, as well as the significant presence of new locations such as Ambrosia and Port Gellhorn. Some fans hope for revelations about details of the main weapon, Vapid Stanier. Despite rising expectations, Rockstar warns against possible online scams related to GTA 6 and invites players to exercise caution. Non mi convince affatto questa idea dell’esclusiva di sole tre ore. Per un titolo di questo calibro, con l'attesa che si fa sempre più alta, mi aspettavo qualcosa di molto più corposo. Tre ore, anche se distribuite in fasce orarie diverse, sembrano insufficienti per sviscerare veramente Vice City e le ambientazioni che accennano. Il fatto che Lucia Caminos sia al centro della trama, insieme a Raul Bautista, Boobie Ike e Dre’Quan Priest, mi fa pensare che ci sarà spazio dedicato alle loro motivazioni e ai loro legami con la città, ma temo che si tratti solo di un assaggio superficiale. La menzione del Vapid Stanier è il classico esempio di quella "speranza" che si nutre spesso nei forum: vale la pena puntare su un’arma specifica quando l'anteprima è così breve? Per me, soprattutto considerando la saga GTA, dove le armi hanno sempre avuto un ruolo cruciale – e spesso insospettato – mi sembra un investimento di tempo mio e del resto della community. Non so se si tratta solo del mio ottimismo da fan affezionato, ma questo format mi pare più una manovra di marketing per alimentare l’hype che un’occasione reale per vedere qualcosa di significativo. La questione Leonida è interessante, sebbene lo vedo più come uno sfondo generico per il tipo di azione a cui si presta GTA, visto l'accento posto su Vice City.
