Have you ever wondered how all the eras of the Grand Theft Auto saga really fit? While Rockstar has always kept separate 2D, 3D and HD continuity, it does not give up filling each chapter of callback, cameo and easter egg – and GTA VI will no exception. We created the definitive timeline that merges them into one American saga of monumental crime. We follow the collapse of the criminal family Forrelli, the explosive rise of Tommy Vercetti in the 1980s to Vice City, the return of CJ to Los Santos, the disenchantment of Niko Bellic from the American Dream in a gray Liberty City and the chaotic and woven lives of Michael, Franklin and Trevor in the San Andreas of GTA 5. Prepare to explore betrayals, orchestrated hits and legendary crossovers that have defined decades of video game history – perfectly outlining the scenario for the incursions of Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval through the modern Vice City of GTA VI. Prepare for the next generation of Rockstar games with this complete guide to the timelines of Grand Theft Auto, and take advantage of this video-recapulation of the entire saga, which traces the key events of each 2D, 3D and HD universe.
