GTA 6: Game Informer unveils a double open world than that of GTA 5 and a realistic weather

The waiting for the GTA 6 release continues to grow, thanks to a new deepening of Game Informer that reveals unpublished details about the next game of Rockstar Games. This reportage, extended on 14 pages, is one of the most comprehensive looks on the title so far published and focuses on the vastness and richness of its open world. Among the main novelties, the game map will be about double compared to that of GTA 5, offering an even more immersive experience. The imaginary state of Leonida will be divided into six main areas: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Monte Kalaga. The development team meticulously treated the GTA 6 weather system. The climate will be dynamic, with the possibility to meet tropical storms and hurricanes that will occasionally affect Leonida. Rain and wind will have a visible impact on the surrounding environment: after thunderstorms will form puddles, while the wind will influence vegetation, water and even the appearance of the characters. The fauna of the game world will be extremely varied, with more than 170 species of animals present both on the mainland and at sea. Players can spot sharks, whales, jellyfish and numerous other marine creatures around Vice City. The reportage also highlights greater attention to the consequences of player choices. The decisions taken, even the apparently minor ones, will influence the relationship between Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, contributing to the evolution of the main plot. Finally, numerous secondary activities will be available: in addition to clandestine races and water bikes, players will be able to practice base jumping, kayaking and hydroplanes, exploring a large number of buildings and interiors. GTA 6 is scheduled for November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
