Exclusive Grand Theft Auto VI premiere on Netflix: The Rockstar Revolution

Rockstar Games unveiled an unexpected operation: the next Grand Theft Auto VI will receive an exclusive "Extended Look" available on Netflix on August 27. The event, called “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look”, will debut on Netflix at 15:00 ET (3:00 PM) and will then be distributed free of charge on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and on the GTA VI website at 21:00 ET (9:00 PM). The vision does not require any Netflix subscription, but a good dose of patience. Rockstar's strategic move lies in the initial exclusivity offered on Netflix. The company will not limit itself to the traditional trailer publication, but will propose a real streaming event, reporting an innovative approach to marketing, rather than a simple promotional asset. The term “extended” suggests bodily content, probably with real gameplay, showing user interface, mission structure and Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos skills in the state of Leonida. Despite not yet known the duration or specific content, the setting strongly points to the presentation of concrete gameplay, an element of great expectation for fans. The trailers have focused on the atmosphere of the game, while this "Extended Look" will have to show that the eleven years of development are worth it and dissipate any doubts. The official launch of GTA VI is scheduled for November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Pre-orders are already open: the standard edition costs $79.99, while the latest edition, which includes additional content, is $99.99. The game will be single-player at launch, without multiplayer components announced by Rockstar. The story revolves around Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, two characters involved in a conspiracy that extends throughout the state of Leonida following an assignment gone wrong. The setting is typically GTA, with a focus on the vast map and freedom of action, but the dual-star approach and the breadth of the world are the key points of this new iteration.
