GTA VI: Economic Projections On Launch Reveal a Global Impact Without Claims

Grand Theft Auto VI could catalyze the most significant event in the history of entertainment. The estimates, purely speculative, suggest potential revenues of $5.2 billion in the first week or in the first month – a figure that for the Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive series represents only a starting point for a potential multi-year path. The focus of the world is on this project, even globally. In July 2025, economics professor José García Montalvo predicted that the day of launch productivity in the United States would decrease by at least 1 billion dollars. The North American company BambooHR raised a 20% increase in holiday demands (PTO) from 19 November 2026, raising concerns among employees. A special case was that of a battalion of the American army of Fort Stewart that offered soldiers re-arrested a special four-day permit just on that date. Recently, Steven Adams, a player of the Houston Rockets, expressed his prediction of a decrease in performance in the entire NBA in conjunction with the release of GTA VI, fear shared by several sports organizations. This scenario led to an increase in holiday demands and forced some companies, like Burger Motorsports, to suspend operations to better manage personnel. The main financial companies are considering GTA VI as a macroeconomic event, recalculating productivity indices, consumption flows and global equity targets, positively affecting the value of Take-Two actions. The game has become the most followed trend on platforms such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter over the last four years, indicating a unique product of its kind, a "meteorite" with obvious consequences in the video industry. This is reflected in delays in the releases of other games, starting from the second half of November. To fully understand the Rockstar Games project, it is essential to analyse its costs, potential revenue, elements that make it unique and the impact of its launch on the market. The success of GTA V continues to influence the path of the sixth chapter, with high expectations as its inheritance.
